Terms & Conditions

Effective April 18, 2026 · By placing an order with Kojima Blades you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

1. Chargeback policy — read before ordering

Chargebacks filed without first contacting us are treated as fraud.

We sell hand-inspected metal replicas. Every problem we have ever had with an order has been resolved by a single email. If something is wrong with your order — wrong item, damage, late delivery, anything — contact us first. We respond within 24 business hours and will refund, replace, or repair where the issue is verified as legitimate.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before attempting to resolve the issue with us directly is a violation of these terms. By placing an order you agree that you will not initiate a chargeback without first contacting [email protected] and allowing us a reasonable opportunity (minimum 7 days) to resolve the matter.

How disputes must be raised

  1. Email [email protected] or use the dispute resolution form with: your order number, photos of the problem, and a description.
  2. We respond within 24 business hours with a refund, replacement, or next step.
  3. If we cannot resolve the issue to your reasonable satisfaction within 14 days, only then is escalation to your card issuer appropriate.

How we contest unsolicited chargebacks

If a chargeback is filed without prior contact, we will dispute it with full evidence including: signed proof of delivery, tracking records, IP and device logs from your order, screenshots of these terms acknowledged at checkout, and any communication history. Our chargeback dispute success rate exceeds 80%.

Customers who file chargebacks in bad faith are permanently banned from future orders across this and our partner stores, and the matter may be reported to fraud prevention databases (Ethoca / Verifi).

2. Acceptance of terms

By completing checkout you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Returns Policy, and our Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

3. Orders, pricing, and payment

  • All prices are listed in your selected currency, inclusive of applicable taxes where shown.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Kojima Blades does not store your card details.
  • Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance — we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (with full refund) for stock, fraud-screening, or pricing-error reasons.
  • Promotional codes are limited to one per order unless explicitly stated.

4. Shipping and delivery

Dispatch times, delivery estimates, and carrier options are listed on our Shipping page. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Customs duties (if any) are the responsibility of the recipient.

Lost or undelivered packages: contact us within 30 days of the latest estimated delivery date so we can open a carrier claim. Beyond 30 days, claims may be denied by the carrier.

5. Returns, refunds, and exchanges

Full terms are on our Returns & Exchanges page. In summary: 30-day window, item must be unused and in original packaging, refunds issued within 5 business days of receipt and inspection.

6. Product nature and intended use

Our products are display replicas and cosplay props. They are not weapons, are not intended for combat, sparring, training, self-defence, or any martial-arts use, and may not be sharpened. Use at your own risk.

You confirm you are 18 or older (or have the consent of a parent/guardian) and that ownership of the item is legal in your jurisdiction. Local laws vary — see our legal guide.

7. Intellectual property

All site content (text, photography, design, branding) is the property of Kojima Blades. Product designs are inspired by works of fiction; we do not claim ownership of the original IP and items are sold as fan replicas.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kojima Blades's total liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including injury arising from misuse of display replicas.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (United Kingdom), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved through our internal process shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time you placed your order applies to that order. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
