What to look for before you buy
Prioritise scale over price
The single biggest giveaway between a cheap replica and a display-grade one is scale. A 60–70% sword reads like a toy in photos — a 100% blade dominates the frame. Every piece we stock is sized to the on-screen or in-game reference.
Material matters more than paint
A hollow plastic shell with a beautiful paint job still feels fake in the hand. Solid-metal or high-density PVC gives you the correct hand-feel — the 'this is a real object' weight that photographs convey and a toy never does.
Check the provenance of photos
Cheap sites pull stock renders or studio shots of a different product. Every image we publish is shot in our UK workshop with the actual piece we ship — including the ones with minor paint variation we disclose.
Understand what you're buying
These are decorative replicas, not functional weapons. Edges are blunt by design. Ship anywhere but check local import rules on replica swords/axes (some regions require age-gate delivery).
Plan the display before you order
Measure the wall or shelf first. A 112 cm Gorehowl needs around 140 cm of clear wall so the silhouette reads properly. Long spears need ceiling-drop mounts or vertical floor stands — see the display section on each product page.
Head-to-shaft balance
A good axe replica balances about a third of the way down from the head. If it flops, the head is too heavy or the haft is hollow — both common shortcuts on sub-£150 pieces.
Haft material
Hardwood cores with cord wrap are traditional. Moulded plastic hafts look wrong under shelf-lighting. We use wood where the reference does.
